Hut above Gasenried at the western end of the Ried glacier, opposite the Mischabelhütte. The standard starting point for the Nadelgrat traverse (Dürrenhorn → Hohberghorn → Stecknadelhorn → Nadelhorn) and the Galenjoch approach.
